pnm.ac.id– Madiun State Polytechnic (PNM) Automotive Engineering Technology Study Program held a guest lecture entitled "Challenges and Opportunities for Engineering Careers in the Mining Industry for Automotive Graduates" at RKB Building C, Campus 2 PNM on Saturday (11/10). This activity presents alumni of the Automotive Engineering Technology Study Program (TERO) who share their experiences and knowledge while working in the mining industry.
The resource person is Bagus Priambodo, S.Tr.T. The 2024 graduate of the TERO Study Program is now working in the bauxite mining industry as an Ore Hauling Plant Supervisor at PT Harmoni Panca Utama. In this guest lecture activity, Bagus shared his career experiences in the mining industry with 96 active students from the TERO Study Program.
TERO Study Program Lecturer, Dhovan Ilhamdan Prima, S.Pd., M.T. explained that alumni have direct experience in the world of work and understand the learning conditions on campus. Therefore, alumni can giveinsightwhich is relevant and inspiring for students.
Through this guest lecture, students can increase their insight into the automotive industry. More broadly, this activity can increase synergy between campus and alumni.
"This guest lecture can also provide a real picture of alumni career experiences, foster student motivation and professionalism, as well as strengthen relationships between alumni, students and study programs." Dhovan explained.
